Meet Courage, a sweet 14-year-old dachshund who found himself in need of a new beginning after his beloved owner passed away. Despite the confusion of being in a new environment, Courage has shown incredible resilience. He recently underwent a major dental procedure and is now feeling much better. His foster parents describe him as a complete love and joy, always ready for snuggles and companionship. Though he’s had his share of challenges, Courage’s heart is full of love, and he’s looking for a forever home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by care and comfort.
Courage really loves a soft, fluffy cuddle bed where he can snuggle in, but he also loves to be with his people and will follow them everywhere - and we do mean everywhere - he's a great bathroom supervisor. Courage is still somewhat confused about the huge change in his life, but he's feeling much better and getting more comfortable every day.
